Weddinsday

Today begins the start of a weekly blog series I like to call Wedding Wednesday or 'Weddinsday'. It will be a little collection board of current trends, colours and designs that I have noticed to be gaining momentum in the wedding world.

I thought it would be appropriate to kick off Weddinsday with the Pantone 2013 Colour of the Year, Emerald.

Emerald is simply a gorgeous colour. Vibrant, rich and, as it was named after a precious gem, it immediately conveys feelings of opulence and grandeur. I love seeing this colour combined with an otherwise simple black and white theme - very art deco. And how amazing is this sequined beauty of a dress? The couple look like they have just stepped out from the pages of The Great Gatsby. Stunning.
